Maj. General James Ewell Brown (Jeb) Stuart (1833-1864)
As the commanding officer of the cavalry corps, Stuart and his men were the eyes and ears for the Army of Northern Virginia. Stuart was mortally wounded at the battle of Yellow Tavern, VA on May 11, 1864. (From an unretouched negative by Minnis & Cowell.) Postcard measures 4" x 6". Item #3111
