Robert E. Lee Commemorative Pen

Product Options

In June 1862 during the Seven Days Battle of Gaines Mill, General Robert E. Lee was known to have met with his staff officers under a 300-year old White Oak. That tree affectionately came to be known as the “Lee Tree” and remained standing another 140 years, to ultimately fall to Hurricane Isabel in 2003.

This pen has been crafted from a small piece of white oak from that very same “Lee Tree”. Each pen measures 5.5” in length and comes in a custom laser-engraved wood case which measures 7” x 1.5” x 1”. A portion of the cost of each pen benefits the Virginia Civil War Battlefield Preservation Fund. Item #723

Your pen can be personalized (up to 20 characters) for an additional cost of $5.00. You can choose the personalization option from the menu above. If you choose to have your pen personalized, you will need to contact the Haversack Store via e-mail at haversack@mocstore.org or by phone at 804-649-1861 x53 to indicate your desired personalization.
